Spiral sand water separator

The spiral sand-water separator can be used as a variety of grit chamber supporting equipment for the separation of sand in sand-containing sewage and other various granular solid matter with a large proportion. Sand-bearing sewage enters tangentially from the upper end of the conical container. A vortex is formed in the container. Under the action of gravity and centrifugal force, the sand particles quickly settle to the bottom of the container and are pushed to the upper sand discharge port by the rotating spiral blade. Due to the use of special water inflow caused by eddy current, the settling speed of sand is greatly accelerated. Compared with the common sand water separator, the settling speed of sand is faster and the separation effect of sand water is higher. Through experiments, the separation effect of sand particles with a diameter greater than 0.2mm is as high as 90%.
